Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel location is excellent, within the old city walls, allowing easy exploration of the city and the old town. The rooms had a high ceiling and big windows but lacked cleanliness and natural light. The service was highlighted by the kindness of Marianna at the reception and Jana at the breakfast area. The dining experience was not impressive, especially compared to other hotels, and the facilities were basic.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great, right on the edge of the old town and a short walk from the harbor. The rooms, however, overlooked the ring road instead of the old town, were noisy due to facing the street, and had an unpleasant smell. On the bright side, the service was helpful, although there were some mix-ups with payments made via booking. The dining experience was a bit lacking, with limited hot food options and long queues for toast. Despite its flaws, the hotel offered good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the rooms were nice and comfortable, they were extremely cramped for a group of 3 people. Unfortunately, there were no night tables next to one side of the bed and no power sockets near the bed to charge the phone. The pillows were uncomfortable, and there was no heating in the bathroom. On the positive side, the accommodation was cozy and pleasant despite the lack of sound insulation.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, but being at street level meant I had to keep the curtains shut for privacy. The modern room design respected the old building's style tastefully, though it could get noisy with the window open, even with the fan provided. The service was a bit of a letdown as the staff member was not very kind and had difficulty communicating in English. On the upside, the location was excellent for exploring the Old Town and nearby districts, very close to the center and transport links. The dining options were modest, with limited variety. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks to consider.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although small, were clean and cozy with a view of St Olaf's Church. However, the road outside was quite noisy with traffic even at night. The service had its ups and downs, with some positive interactions but also some concerning moments. The location, being nestled within the old town, was both charming and convenient, although the noise from neighboring guests was a downside. The dining options were limited but of decent quality. Overall, a stay with both positives and negatives.
The hotel offers very spacious and modern rooms with every possible amenity, but it was unexpectedly cold in September and not as clean as we anticipated. The service, especially from helpful staff members like Jessica, was mostly nice and polite, with efforts to compensate for any hotel shortcomings. The location is fantastic, close to the ferry and easily accessible to explore the marvelous city, despite some rooms being a bit smallish. The dining experience was good, although it became repetitive after a few days. Overall, the hotel provides excellent facilities, making it a decent choice for a stay.
